PCR Room

The preparation of the PCR (polymerase chain reaction) is exclusively carried out in the PCR room and leads to the amplification of a particular locus from the extracted DNA. For this particularly sensitive step, four separate UV chambers are available, used in rotation.
Carrying out extraction and PCR controls is standard, in order to identify contaminated reagents and to calculate the environmental conditions of the extraction and PCR.
