Open positions
We welcome new group members as postdocs, Ph.D. students, diploma students or interns. If you are interested, please inform yourself on our research page and have a look at our recent publications. If any of the fields we work on is of interest to you, please apply directly to Prof. Dr. C. Sönnichsen (soennichsen (at) uni-mainz.de). Normally, your application should contain a specific suggestion on what you are interested in doing, especially if you are more experienced (i.e. for a postdoc or Ph.D. work). For short projects, you need to work closely with one of the group members and it is best to get to know them in advance. One way to do this is to infomally join our group meeting (Mondays 10-12), which you can do any time without prior notice.If you send an application, please include a CV and scans of your transcripts showing your grades. It would be nice to include all transcripts including your highschool diplom (Abitur). If you apply from abroad, a proof of profiency in English is required.
Für Studierende aus Mainz
Wenn Sie in Mainz Chemie, Physik, Biomedizinische Chemie oder Biologie studieren, können Sie gerne in unserer Arbeitsgruppe ein Praktikum absolvieren. Wir haben in der Vergangenheit viele Studenten gehabt, die sehr erfolgreich Forschungsarbeiten in den Semesterferien gemacht haben. Ggf. kann dieses Praktikum als Wahlmodul anerkannt werden oder in eine Diplomarbeit bzw. Bachelorarbeit münden. Bei Interesse senden Sie bitte eine mail an eicht(at)uni-mainz.de
Wissenschaftliche Hilfskräfte
1. Eine wissenschaftliche Hilfskraft für den Aufbau und die Betreuung eines komplexen Versuchsaufbaus mit Schwerpunkt in der computergesteuerten Ansteuerung wird gesucht.
2. Eine wissenschaftliche Hilfskraft für routinemäßige chemische Arbeiten und den Laboraufbau wird benötigt.
