Landslides in western and south-western Germany

 New insights from research and practice in the fields of stabilisation measures in general, rock face stabilisation, protective systems and monitoring methods with regard to damage reduction and risk minimisation

In cooperation with the Rhineland-Palatinate Geological Survey (Landesamt für Geologie und Bergbau Rheinland-Pfalz) a landslide database is being established.

The database will document all known mass movements within the borders of present-day Rhineland-Palatinate since A.D. 1655. It is planned to make these data available to the public in a structured form.
