We would like to mention many institutions such as „Menschen für Menschen“, „Medicins sans Frontières“, „Norwegian Save the Children Fund“, the „World Food Programm“, „Signum Vitae“, „Goethe Institut Addis Abeba/GCI“, „UNICEF“ Ethiopia, the Addis Abeba University as well as the embassies of Germany, England and Ethiopia (in Berlin). With their open and friendly cooperation during the days of our preparatory planning they played a decisive part in improving the logistical conditions and ultimately helped us attain the cooperation of the South Omo Zonal Administration and the DPPC ( Disaster Preparedness and Prevention Committee ) and their permission of the distributions, a novelty for comparable projects in the history of Southern Ethiopia.
