Welcome to "ethio-mail"!What is "ethio-mail"?The ethio-mail list is open for information and questions about Ethiopian languages, literature, history and related topics, computer application in Ethiopian projects, project announcements, meetings, news, working tools etc. We hope that you will be able to share information, questions, answers, programs etc.
with the other members on the list.

1 How to subscribe ethio-mail?If you want to become a member of the "ethio-mail" mailing list, send a message to majordomo@mail.uni-mainz.de with the following line in the body of the letter: subscribe ethio-mail
2 How to post a message?
a. addressIf you wish to send a message to "ethio-mail", the correct e-mail address is ethio-mail@mail.uni-mainz.de
b. subject lineThe subject line should be brief and descriptive.
c. text of messagePlease, be concise. No commercial advertising. Nevertheless brief notices by the author about new publications are authorized.
3 How to reply to ethio-mail's messages?To reply to ethio-mail's messages, don't forget to use the Cc function of your e-mail software, where you have simply to insert:ethio-mail@mail.uni-mainz.de We will dispatch your reply to all registered members.
4 How to find out who else belongs to "ethio-mail"?If you wish to obtain a checklist of the members of "ethio-mail", send the message:who <ethio-mail>to majordomo@mail.uni-mainz.de
5 How to leave "ethio-mail"?If you wish to remove your name from the mailing list and cease to receive the ethio-mail's messages, send the message:unsubscribe <ethio-mail> to majordomo@mail.uni-mainz.de
