VISTARS stands for "Virtuelles Institut der Struktur der Kerne und nuklearer Astrophysik", translated into English "Virtual Institute of Nuclear Structure and Nuclear Astrophysics ". Funded by the Helmholtz Gemeinschaft, VISTARS is ment to acquire young researchers and students for the field of Nuclear Astrophysics.
By sending students all over the world and organizing workshops, seminars and lectures VISTARS successfully gains more attention from young researchers and students for Nuclear Astrophysics.
