Workshops

Please note:
The workshop organizers need to hand in their workshop lineup with the local organizer team at JGU American Studies as soon as possible. Please send an e-mail with the participants' names and the title of their papers to: dgfa2012@uni-mainz.de.

All workshop rooms are equipped with a projector, a notebook (DELL), speakers, and necessary plugs and cables. Apple users who wish to use their own computer will need to bring their own adapters.

All participants of the DGfA conference will have access to a personal conference account, provided with your conference binder, to use the wireless LAN network of the university.

Although all rooms are equipped with a stationary notebook, we do recommend workshop participants to bring their own notebook as backup since the transfer of powerpoint or keynote presentations from one notebook to another (especially with embedded video or audio material) tends to result in quirks.

If you need any additional information on equipment or the workshop venues, write us an e-mail: dgfa2012@uni-mainz.de.
