1. Master entrance requirements
Study programs and admission requirements (pending approval by the university committees).
The requirement for admission to the Master's degree program in Chemistry is a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or an equivalent qualification awarded by an institute of higher education in Germany or abroad.
Applicants who have not obtained their university entrance qualification at a German-speaking institution or do not hold a qualification acquired through a course taught in German will be required to provide proof that they are proficient in the German language at a level equivalent to that which would be demonstrated by successful completion of the 'German Language Proficiency Examination for Admission to Higher Education for Foreign Applicants (DSH)'.
It will be assumed that students have sufficient active and passive knowledge of English to enable them to read specialist literature in English and participate in courses taught in English; however, students will not be required to submit written assignments or take examinations in English unless these regulations stipulate otherwise (applicants will not be required to provide documentary evidence of their English language skills).
