Your printed and signed online-application has to be submitted by mail (not by fax) to the following address:

To apply at JGU, please use the Online Application.On the printout of the online-application, your home university’s exchange coordinator must confirm that you are officially taking part in ERASMUS or in another exchange programme.
Confirmation of Application
If you need confirmation of the arrival of your application at JGU, for instance to apply for a visa, please print out the "Confirmation of Application" along with your online-application and send both copies to JGU. One copy of the confirmation will be returned to you with a stamp.Please note that we do not issue any other confirmations of application (neither by e-mail, mail or fax).
German Language Courses for Exchange Students
GeIn order to help exchange students improve their language skills in German, the JGU Foreign Language Center (Fremdsprachenzentrum) offers tailor-made courses for exchange students. Please refer to Programmstudierende / ERASMUS for more information and the application form "Sprachkurs Deutsch als Fremdsprache".On page 2 of the application, your home university’s exchange coordinator must confirm that you are officially taking part in ERASMUS or in another exchange programme. The completed application form has to be submitted to the Foreign Language Center by the deadline specified in the application form.
