Construction projects
The state of Rhineland-Palatinate has embarked on an ambitious construction program involving the renovation, modernization, and expansion of the Gutenberg Campus Mainz.Between 2005 and 2020, about €1 billion will be put to use to finance the construction of new buildings and a series of renovation projects.
An important aspect of the more urban-oriented future development of the Gutenberg Campus Mainz is the redesign and reorganization of existing public spaces. In order to ensure that top-quality, representative, and communicative external public spaces will be developed, the project has been put out to trans-European tender.
